Our Favourite Things About Everwood® Faux Wood Blinds

Durable, Moisture-Resistant & Built to Last

Unlike natural wood, EverWood blinds are made from a composite material that won’t:

  • Warp

  • Fade

  • Yellow

  • Crack

  • Peel

This makes them ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, or any space with high humidity or strong sunlight — places where real wood blinds may struggle.

Hunter Douglas’ TruGrain® finish and advanced materials ensure the blinds look beautiful for years without the maintenance wood requires.

Realistic Wood Look

EverWood blinds offer some of the most convincing wood textures in the industry, thanks to:

  • TruGrain® wood-like finishes

  • A wide range of paint and stain colours

  • Smooth or textured slat options

You get the look and warmth of hardwood while benefiting from the resilience of engineered materials.

Easy Maintenance

EverWood blinds are extremely easy to care for. Unlike wood, they can be cleaned more thoroughly without risk of damage — simply dust, wipe with a damp cloth, or use a gentle cleaning solution. Their moisture resistance ensures they won’t absorb water, making upkeep simple and stress-free.

Frequently Asked Questions About EverWood® Alternative Wood Blinds

Before measuring, consider whether you want an inside or outside mounted window treatment. If inside, you’ll need to make sure your window is square by measuring horizontally at the top, center and bottom, vertically along both sides and center, and diagonally. Also measure the frame depth and take into account any window hardware that might obstruct the window treatment.

The final measure we will do for you to ensure a perfect fit.

Horizontal Application:

  • Width: 7 3/4 in. – 96 in.
  • Height: 12 in. – 120 in.

To ensure your window treatments fit perfectly and function properly, we recommend leaving installing to a Hunter Douglas expert.

There are many moving parts in any shade.  To ensure you have the right parts to fix your problem, contact us.  Our experience will guide you through the process with peace of mind.
