Marketing & Showroom Manager

This position is perfect for an experienced interior designer or decorator with a passion for social media and marketing OR an experienced social media marketing &/or retail manager who has a passion for interior decor & lifestyle trends. If you have a proven track record for creating highly engaging content across all social platforms, we want to hear from you.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Interior Design or related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or related role.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
Proficiency in WordPress considered an asset.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the overall operation of the showroom, ensuring a positive and engaging customer experience.
Manage product inventory, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability.
Photograph & weigh all incoming inventory for website documentation.
Control product management, including damage claims, defects, and other vendor related communication.
Manage e-commerce and POS systems.
Utilize WordPress to optimize website content and implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility.
Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.
Implement email marketing campaigns to engage with customers and drive repeat business.
Utilize market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, e-commerce, and retail.

Outside Sales Representative

At dekor butik we are passionate about customer service. Our sophisticated clients expect the best, and we deliver – every time. Our structured sales process provides our team members the tools required to fulfill this promise. We are looking to add an outside sales representative to our team. If you are looking for a challenging but profitable sales position and enjoy developing new accounts and customer relationships, we’d like to hear from you.

This is a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, sales position that will allow you to use your experience and confidence to drive sales results while ensuring acute attention to detail to ensure customers satisfaction – every time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Established connections in the construction, design, build industries (preferred).
Experience in window covering sales including custom drapery (preferred).
Experience with window covering product lines including a robust knowledge of motorization and automation offerings (preferred).
Able to maintain sales goals, and have a strong desire to win the sale.
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Interior Design, or equivalent (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Extremely high attention to detail.
Work alone and as a part of the team.
Excellent time management skills, mature, well organized, and enthusiastic.
High level of commitment, dependability, and persistence.
Able to respond to unexpected challenges with confidence; including demanding clients.
Strong desire to continue learning; regular product knowledge sessions are required.
A vehicle available for work including a valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance.
Are able to provide a clean criminal record check.

You:

Develop new commercial and residential leads.
Source new business using a variety of marketing tactics such as email or cold calling.
Book consultations in collaboration with our inside sales team, until which time you are comfortable with product knowledge and able to close deals on your own.
Read construction documents and prepare take offs.
Offer detailed presentations on several window covering &/or interior products.
Write engaging proposals and programs for existing and potential clients.
Liaise with vendors to maintain price competitiveness.
Take accurate measurements of windows.
Prepare accurate and detailed quotes.
Follow up, close sales, maintain sales goals.
Maintain updates on project status.
Participate in trade shows, training or associated product meetings.

Junior Interior Designer

dekor butik is currently seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organized Junior Interior Designer (Design Assistant) for our Calgary office. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, common sense, strong diplomacy skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree or diploma in interior design, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 years’ experience working in residential design or equivalent.
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform duties with direction from supervisor.
Ability to design, source, and track furniture, fixtures, and finishes including custom designs for high-end residential projects.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors and trades.
Ability to prepare or approve quotes, requests, worksheets, estimates, purchase orders, and invoices.
Ability to prepare visually enticing presentation documents.
